Overview

In today’s era of awareness toward health, we are proud to present the Lifestyles Health & Wellness Expo in Support of the Children’s Wish Foundation.

The Lifestyles Health & Wellness Fair is a 2 day event taking place at Harbour Station on September 14 & 15, 2012 (Friday 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM & Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM). 

It is a public fair that deals with health and wellness issues for individuals, sporting organizations and employers that want to create a healthy work environment and concentrates on the following areas:

  • Physical Fitness 
  • Financial Health 
  • Mental Health 
  • Healthy Eating 
  • Nutrition 
  • Healthy Restaurant Eating 
  • Natural Medicine 
  • Workplace Wellness
  • Environmental Health 
  • Sportsware & Equipment 

The fair will feature display booths, an activity area, a fitness challenge, workshops in breakout rooms, presentations and guest speakers. 


Tickets (good for both days):
$ 6.00 Adults, $ 5.00 Students, Seniors, $ 10.00 Family of 5

As part of the Saint John Health & Wellness Expo, the Good Life fitness challenge will take place 
on the East end of Harbour Station over the two days of the Expo.  Participants will take part is the designed obstacle course against other teams in a timed event.  Spectators can cheer on their teams or favorite competitors from the stands in between visiting exhibitors displaying various Health & wellness information and samples or by taking in the various lifestyle presentations.

Letter from a Dad.

My name is Patrick.  My wife Sandra and I are the proud parents of our son Ethan and our daughter Madeline.  
 
Ethan was 13 and playing basketball when he got hit in the nose by one of his opponents which resulted in a nose bleed.   Another half hour of stuffing toilet paper up his nose and applying ice on his neck resulted in no success so I decided to take him to the ER.  There, they determined his nose was not broken and decided to stuff his nose with something called a Rhino Rocket and sent us home.
